Relationship Trauma Therapy Online & In-Person Australia
Trauma-Informed Therapy for Betrayal, Attachment Injuries, and Narcissistic Abuse
Do all your relationships seem to end the same way?
Do you find yourself always attracted to the ‘wrong’ type?
Do you feel trapped in patterns of mistrust, betrayal, or emotional harm?
If these questions resonate, you are not alone. Many people experience relationship trauma, including betrayal, narcissistic abuse, trauma bonds, and insecure attachment. As a trauma-informed clinical psychologist, I work with individuals and couples to understand these patterns, process relational pain, and rebuild trust and emotional wellbeing.
I provide online therapy sessions across Australia, as well as in-person sessions at my Hope Island practice on the Gold Coast. This allows expert support no matter where you live.

More About Angie…..
“Having experienced the profound effects of betrayal and unhealthy relationships myself, I bring both empathy and professional expertise to help clients navigate emotional confusion, self-doubt, and anxiety.”
I am a trauma-informed clinical psychologist with over 19 years of experience supporting individuals and couples navigating relationship trauma, betrayal, and insecure attachment patterns. From the beginning of my career, I have been fascinated by interpersonal dynamics and how relationships shape the way we think, feel, and act. I understand that feeling safe in relationships is essential for growth, healing, and emotional wellbeing.
Over the years, I have developed my skills through extensive clinical practice, including working with high-conflict couples and complex relational situations, such as custody disputes. This experience sharpened my ability to identify core emotional wounds and create meaningful change. I am trained in Gottman Marital Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, helping couples rebuild trust, connection, and fulfilling partnerships.
I have also authored over 30 published psychology resources, with more than 70,000 copies distributed, reflecting my commitment to communicating psychological insights in a clear, accessible way.
My passion extends to working with individuals recovering from narcissistic abuse, trauma bonds, betrayal trauma, and insecure attachment. I combine evidence-based psychological methods, attachment theory, and neuroscience-informed approaches to support both the mind and body in healing from relational trauma.

Traumatic Relationships and the Nervous System
I work with all clients to understand their unique experience of relational trauma and how this has impacted their nervous system. It is imperative we look at our body's response to ongoing threat and how this has embedded in our physiological states. Nurturing recovery in our nervous system’s is a central determinant in treatment outcomes. It may be that your body is communicating threat signals to your brain without your awareness. This can impact our responses in social environments and in relationships.
